In 2016, the Group decides to enter the e-commerce business, engaging B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) sales online. The Group intends to position itself in the e-commerce sector as a trader that provides good quality products with no counterfeit goods. It will launch an online shopping platform, targeting the fast-growing online shopping business in China. One of the major line of products to be launched and sold through the online sales platform will be baby and infant child products. As China has formally abolished the one-child policy in 2015, the Group considers that the birth rate in China is expected to rise in the near future and as a result, the demand for baby and child products with high quality and safety is expected to rise in the coming years. The Group intends to grow the e-commerce business and may diversify into other lines of products.
